Driving for a hike, I came to this partially dried-up lake. We have had an unusualy dry summer, but this was a sight to behold. The shoreline was almost 200 feet from where it used to be, so I climbed down and took a shot. On my way back, I stopped to take a dawn image, which turned out to be of a much lower quality.
